I believe that basketball can give something to many people in Japan and all over the world.
Could I have you tell me what you think that basketball can give them?

Not just basketball but I think sport in general is something that can bring people from different backgrounds together.  There are many things in this world that can be divisive.  Sports are one of the things that I think bring us together and can teach us valuable lessons.  

バスケに限ったことではなく、一般的にスポーツはさまざまなバックグラウンドをもった人々をともに引き合わせることができるものだと思います。この世には分裂を起こすようなものがたくさんあります。そんな中でも、スポーツは人々をまとめ、私たちに価値のあることを教えてくれるもののひとつだと思います。
